The Statemint v800 runtime upgrade is relatively low impact, especially as teleports and asset creation are not enabled yet. However, this sets the stage for v900, in which I plan to propose lifting all restrictions on Statemint. The purpose of upgrading to v800 is to ensure that Statemint is on the same version as Westmint and Statemine such that testing the v900 w/r/t migrations is as similar as possible.

- There is an upgrade called Statemint v800.
- This upgrade is not very important right now because some features are not enabled yet.
- The upgrade is being done to make sure Statemint is the same version as other programs.
- This will help with testing in the future.
- There will be another upgrade called v900 that will lift all restrictions on Statemint.
