For over a year, we have been developing [<u>Pudgy Party</u>](https://pudgy.party), an immersive Web3 Game, in a partnership with Mythical Games, a leading gaming studio on Polkadot. As we are getting close to the game launch, as part of our go-to-market strategy, we would like to tie the iconic Pudgy Penguins directly to the Polkadot ecosystem. Pudgy Party is therefore not just another game; it's Polkadot's gateway to mainstream adoption, transforming it from an infrastructure powerhouse into a leading consumer-facing brand in Web3, that millions of people will interact with daily.

These successes demonstrate Mythical's expertise in creating engaging, mainstream-appealing games that seamlessly integrate blockchain for true digital ownership, player economies, and rewards. The studio's track record includes multiple games hitting million-download milestones, strategic licensing deals with global IPs like the NFL and FIFA, and a focus on accessible Web3 mechanics that attract both crypto natives and traditional gamers.



# Details of the Partnership 

The budget requested as part of this proposal, is entirely for go-to-market of Pudgy Party on Polkadot, not for the development of the game, which is already funded from other sources (see budget breakdown below). 

We believe this strategic partnership represents a tremendous opportunity for Polkadot. Mythical's Mythos Chain, which migrated to Polkadot as a parachain in 2024, has brought over 5 million users into the ecosystem while leveraging Polkadot's flexible EVM compatibility and robust security to handle high-throughput gaming applications. Pudgy Party, which will be built entirely on Mythos Chain and powered by $MYTH tokens secured by Polkadot, will combine the community loyalty of Pudgy Penguins with Mythical's game development prowess and Polkadot’s security architecture. Imagine for example, the addictive, multiplayer fun of Fall Guys—complete with customizable Pudgy avatars, chaotic party modes, and real-time competitions—infused with Web3 elements like NFT ownership, token rewards, and in-game asset trading on-chain. ## Dispatch Origin

Must be [`Config::SpendOrigin`] with the `Success` value being at least
`amount` of `asset_kind` in the native asset. The amount of `asset_kind` is converted
for assertion using the [`Config::BalanceConverter`].

## Details

Create an approved spend for transferring a specific `amount` of `asset_kind` to a
designated beneficiary. The spend must be claimed using the `payout` dispatchable within
the [`Config::PayoutPeriod`].

### Parameters
- `asset_kind`: An indicator of the specific asset class to be spent.
- `amount`: The amount to be transferred from the treasury to the `beneficiary`.
