On behalf of the Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) I am posting this treasury proposal for funding of the fifth wave of the Academy.
The PBA will run from 20th May to 20th June, 2024 and will be held at the National University of Singapore. The program is selecting 90 in person students and 50 to 100 remote students who will join via video and audio link.

The goal of the Polkadot Blockchain Academy is to help speed the adoption of Polkadot by seeding the ecosystem with educated developers and aspiring technical Polkadot ecosystem team founders. Currently we offer in person education such as the previous course held at Cyberport in Hong Kong, we are also creating online content to roll out an asynchronous course and are piloting the remote offering in Singapore

- **Problem Statement:** Seeking funding for the fifth wave of the Polkadot Blockchain Academy to educate developers and foster Polkadot ecosystem team founders.
- **Significance:** Accelerating Polkadot adoption by educating a new wave of developers and ecosystem founders.
- **Proposed Solution:** Running the Academy from May 20 to June 20, 2024, at the National University of Singapore for 90 in-person students and 50 to 100 remote students.
- **Expected Outcomes:** Increased knowledge and skills in Polkadot development, fostering a stronger Polkadot ecosystem.
